The King’s Army artillery includes up to three guns looked after by Lunsford’s. The largest of them, and indeed the largest in the army’s battery, is the Drake Minion. The other, smaller guns are the Robinette and Falconette.
Each of these cannons takes a crew of trained soldiers to run. They can load and fire each gun once every few minutes. The guns are muzzle-loaded, much like our muskets, and fired using a linstock holding lit slow-match.
